ADW responds to closing of Maryland public schools

Gov. Hogan announced today that all K-12 Maryland public schools will close for two weeks, beginning March 16, in an attempt to stem the spread of the coronavirus. William Ryan, superintendent of schools for the Archdiocese of Washington, issued a letter for parents in wake of the governor's decision. St. Raphael School and Nursery School will be in session tomorrow, Friday, March 13, as scheduled, after which our campus will then be closed. In anticipation of such an event, our staff has prepared a contingency plan to facilitate student learning remotely. Watch for further information from teachers and SRS Principal Teri Dwyer, who will communicate with families directly.
