Gabriel Vasconcellos (SRS '16) has been elected to the student council at NYU DC. "The school calls the student council 'Hall of Congress,' so technically he is a congressperson now!" shares mom Renata. "He campaigned hard to be elected, which is unusual for a freshman." Gabriel was a class representative on the SRS Student Council in 2015-16. "I know SRS (Jody [Bosnick] too) was a big part in forming what he is today," Renata continues. "He is super excited about college and is very involved in DC politics."
