Taylor grew up in Olney, MD where she attended St. Peter’s School. She attended the Academy of the Holy Cross for high school and was involved in spiritual retreat leadership, played field hockey, basketball and softball. Taylor received her undergraduate degree in early childhood education from James Madison University. She started her teaching career at St. Raphael as an enrichment teacher and then became the Kindergarten teacher for three years. While teaching at SRS, Taylor pursued a dual master’s degree in early childhood special education from Catholic University. Before rejoining the SRS staff in 2024, Taylor taught in Montgomery County Public Schools. She was a home-school model resource teacher and special education classroom teacher. She instructed students with learning disabilities and social/emotional challenges. Taylor has served as team leader for many years and worked with a variety of special needs students along with their families. Taylor and her husband, Nick, live in Olney and are members of the St. Peter’s parish community. They have three children Charlie, Winnie, and Cole. Charlie and Winnie will attend SRNS in the fall. The family is thrilled to be a part of the SRS community again!
